Spent part of his childhood in an industrial city in Japan, surrounded by the electro-mechanical noises of factories, industrial waste and the futuristic aspects of Animeculture. At an early age his older brother introduced him to groups like YellowMagic Orchestra and Kraftwerk, which initiated his curiosity for electronic sounds.This interest led him to London where he studied and researched in different fieldsof sound such as acoustics, sound engineering and postproduction. This openeda new world of influences from composers such as Xenakis, Stockhausen tomusical styles like IDM, Jungle and Noise. These genres amalgamated into hisown sound, which he produces under the aliases of Kota ISO and Deladium.
Years later, carrying his technological influences and his knowledge in sound Kotamoved to Catalunya to develop a new approach to his sound exploration with hisparallel project "Kota Nomi" based on binaural recordings. This project presentsthe audience with a different way to appreciate and experience sounds thatsurround us from different perspectives.
